We sell the L. Pearl ebooks selected at checkout as personalized PDF reading copies. The selected title, price, and total are shown before payment. No physical book is shipped.
Each purchased PDF is personalized with the name entered for that ebook and the order ID. The order ID also appears as its license key; it is an order reference, not a separate product or a promise of additional rights.
Because access to a digital ebook is provided shortly after payment, purchases are generally final once access is provided, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We do not normally offer a refund solely because you changed your mind or chose the wrong title after receiving access.
If you are charged but cannot access your purchased PDF, receive the wrong title, or find that the file is defective, contact us with your order ID. We will review the issue and work to provide the correct file, restore access, or issue an appropriate refund. This policy does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
After successful payment, your order page provides access to the personalized PDF for each selected ebook. We also send a confirmation email with a private link to that order page to the address entered at checkout. Email delivery may be delayed or filtered by your email provider.
Your order link is intended for ongoing access, but temporary service interruptions may occur. The order ID alone does not grant access to the private PDF. We recommend keeping a downloaded copy for personal use.
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to read and keep your purchased PDF. Copyright and other rights in the ebook are not transferred to you. You may not:
We may restrict access to a link used for unauthorized sharing, subject to applicable law.
To process orders, deliver ebooks, provide support, and investigate fraud or disputes, we record the name and email address you provide, selected ebooks, payment and order identifiers, terms acceptance, IP address, browser identifier, device and browser information, timestamps, and order-page or file-access events. Payment-card information is handled by our payment provider.
This information may be used to:
Relevant data may be shared with our payment provider, email and file-storage providers, and dispute reviewers as needed for those purposes. A browser identifier may be stored on your device to connect visits and orders from that browser; it does not establish a person's identity.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the ebooks or temporary service interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
By checking the Terms of Service box and completing a purchase, you agree to the version of these terms presented for that order. Your agreement is recorded with the order.
We may update these terms for future purchases. An update does not retroactively change the terms accepted for an earlier order.
